Carmelo González Carmelo González was born in Mexico. His poetry has appeared in Latino Cultural, La Voz, and Northwest Magazine, and been presented at several Los Norteños’ events.
Felicia Gonzalez was born and raised in Cuba. An alumna of Hedgebrook Writers Retreat, she was awarded a 2007 Artist Trust/Washington State Arts Commission Fellowship.
Laura González is
a poet, writer and social worker born in México. She just published Peanuts? No Thanks! -- a trilingual
children’s book about peanut allergies.
Gabriella Gutiérrez y Muhs grew up in Mexico and the United States. She is a poet and professor at Seattle University.
Maiah Merino Maiah Alicia Merino loves stories and storytelling. There’s so much to see, feel and be. Maiah’s
stories teach us: we are all related. Donna Miscolta has received awards from 4Culture, Artist Trust, Seattle City Artists and Bread Loaf/Rona Jaffe Foundation. Her fiction has appeared in various literary journals.
Christina Montilla Christina Montilla studies Anthropology and English at Pacific Lutheran University. She is grateful to La Sala for this opportunity and to Wendy for her encouragement.
Kisha Xiomara Palmer Kisha Xiomara Palmer
is a writer, performer, and director. She has been in residence at Hedgebrook
and Ucross and received a PEN/Rosenthal Emerging Voices Fellowship. Juan Carlos Reyes
received a 2007 PEN Emerging Voices Fellowship. He has been nominated for a
Pushcart Prize and is currently working on his first novel. María Victoria is a writer and lawyer from Veracruz, Mexico. Her novel Les Dejo el Mar won several awards; a short story just appeared in Nimrod International Journal.
Penn Wallace Penn Wallace’s sailing adventures have been published in Nor’Westing and Good Old Boat magazines and his short stories in the anthologies Potpourri and Voices of Lung Cancer. |
